What separates top producers from everyone else? It’s not talent. It’s not luck. It’s how they think, plan, and show up daily. If you’re serious about growing your business, it starts with shifting how you operate, starting now and not later. The faster you adopt these habits, the quicker you’ll see results.

Start with your morning. I go to bed early and wake up at 6:00 AM. I work out first thing. It helps me clear my head and focus. Then, I move to the most important tasks of the day before distractions hit. That means prospecting, making tough calls, and handling inspection items right away. This is how top producers start their day. They don’t wait to react; they lead.

Control your week. Top producers don’t just “wing it.” They plan ahead. I don’t let the week control me. I control my week. I sit down and lay out my calendar before the week starts. I block off time for my family, exercise, and learning. Then, I block in a time for my business. When will I call leads? When will I door knock? When will I prepare for open houses? It all goes on the calendar.

Time blocking changes everything. Time blocking isn’t optional; it’s critical. Without it, your day controls you. With it, you take charge. You know what’s coming and when to do it. That’s how consistent growth happens.

The mindset shift. Want to be a top producer? Stop waiting to feel ready and start doing what a top producer already does. That means setting a routine, sticking to it, and showing up every day. Don’t skip workouts, don’t skip prospecting, and don’t make excuses. It’s about becoming that person now, not later.
